Established in January 2022, our academy is committed to fostering a passion for karate among students of all ages and skill levels. About Us
Our academy is proudly co-owned by Sensei Justin and Sensei Reece Baynes, both accomplished martial artists with extensive experience and accolades. Sensei Justin, a 3rd dan black belt, and Sensei Reece, a 2nd dan black belt, have been integral members of the protea team since 2013. With senior and junior protea colors, they bring a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every class.
Our Offerings
At the Reddogz Academy, we offer a diverse range of karate programs to cater to all interests and abilities:
- Traditional Goju Ryu Karate: Embrace the rich heritage and techniques of Goju Ryu, focusing on self-defense, kata, and kumite.
- WKF Competitive Karate: Train for competitive karate under the World Karate Federation (WKF) guidelines, perfecting skills for tournaments and competitions.

- Kata and Kumite: Master the intricate forms (kata) and sparring techniques (kumite) that are essential components of karate.
